What are the special local features of the occurrence of the elements water, soil and plants in the Schöppingen area?
How were they used in the past and how are they used today? What are their future prospects and their economic and creative potential?
What cultural and artistic inspiration was and is provided by these elements? To what extent was or is this connected with the use?
This three-part series took place over a weekend each. On the first day, excursions and site visits focus on their history and occurrence, as well as their use and significance for the sustainable development of the region. On the second day, the three materials serve as sources of inspiration to explore their artistic potential in the Künstler*dorf workshop.
