Christina Kettering

Christina Kettering (*1980, Germany) has been working primarily as a playwright for many years. Her plays have won many awards and are performed at numerous municipal and state theaters as well as independent stages throughout Germany. One of the main focuses of her work is an interdisciplinary approach in close collaboration with the artistic team. She is particularly interested in exploring connections between text and other art forms such as dance or graphic novels.

In Schöppingen, Christina Kettering switched genres and worked on her first novel project. The text is set in the 1990s and deals with the economic transformations in Germany and Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall. In the Künstlerdorf she found tranquility and time for this research-intensive work.
