Gina Dargan (*1988, USA) is a multidisciplinary artist in textiles, ceramics and sculpture. She graduated with a BFA in Studio Art and Anthropology from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia in 2011.

In her work she looks for balance between the natural, organic world and structured geometric forms. These elements are explored through mixing and contrasting color and texture to create compositions that form harmony, and in some instances chaos. The surrounding nature in Schöppingen provided inspiration for texture and color palettes that she explored in her designs on the loom during the residency.
