Jazra Khaleed (1979) is a poet, filmmaker, performer and translator. He lives in Athens and writes exclusively in Greek. His works focus on issues of working-class experiences and cultures, homeland and origin, immigration and war, and are an indictment of racism, social injustice, and classism in contemporary Greece and Europe.

What a productive and introspective time I have had at Künstlerdorf Schöppingen! Full of warm memories, meaningful conversations, and fascinating encounters. The residency gave me the amazing privilege of time and quiet to work on my new book. On the top of that, I acquired enjoyable skills such as making dumplings, weaving, and making flags.
