Bertony Louis

Bertony Louis (*1994 in Delmas, Haiti) studied law at the École de Droit et des Sciences Économiques des Gonaïves. He received numerous international awards, including „Gens de Lettres“, 2020 in France. In 2019, he published a collection of poems „Mille éclats de mots et autres brillances“ with Niklovens Fransaint published by Lys Bleu Editions. He also published poems in anthologies such as „Florilège des écrivains en herbe“, „Plumes de la Sant Jordi“ and „Florilège Ecole de la Loire“. Bertony Louis is a member of the literary association „Le Cénacle des Treize“ in France.

During his residency, the young Haitian poet wrote on a collection of poems entitled „Recovering the Horizons“.
