Ali Kigongo (*1971 in Kampala, Uganda) is an author of crime, adventure and horror stories. Through his work for the „Lady Mermaid Bureau“ in Uganda, he has been committed to women’s rights for many years. His work has encouraged many young women and given them the opportunity to escape brutal imprisonment.
After he was forced to leave the country, he worked through harrowing traumatic experiences as an asylum seeker. He currently writes for the quarterly magazine „Asylum Voices“.
