The aim of the Friends of the Künstlerdorf Schöppingen Association is to support the work of the Künstlerdorf and thus to contribute to the promotion of the artistic and literary landscape.

Membership in the Friends’ Association offers additional opportunities to get involved and participate in the work of the Künstlerdorf.

The members of the Friends’ Association meet annually in spring at the Künstlerdorf. In addition, they are invited to events, such as exhibition openings or readings, and are informed about the activities of the Künstlerdorf.

Many aspects of the successful work of the Künstlerdorf would not have been possible without the support of the Friends’ Association, under the longstanding chairmanship of Christina Rau. In 2021, former Minister of State Harry Kurt Voigtsberger took over the chairmanship of the Friends’ Association. He was succeeded by Mayor Franz-Josef Franzbach in 2023.

The contribution options for an annual membership are:

• Membership as a natural person: EUR 35,- (including the annual publication)
• Membership as a legal entity: EUR 70,- (including the annual publication)
• Supporting membership natural person: EUR 250,- (incl. the annual publication with edition)
• Supporting membership for a legal entity: EUR 500,- (incl. sending the annual publication with the edition)
• Premium membership natural person: EUR 1.000,- (incl. the annual publication with edition and co-designing a public event)
• Premium membership legal entity: EUR 2.000,- (incl. the annual publication and co-designing of a public event)

Donations are always welcome and are tax-deductible. They are used in full for promoting artists and authors.
