After various professional positions, Christian Schattat is studying literary writing and proofreading. He published several short stories (including “Up there the stars shine” in Fiction Berlin 04, “Land unter” in “Was ist Wasser”, first-semester anthology of the creative writing and cultural journalism course at the University of Hildesheim) and received the Kempowski grant from the Haus Kreienhoop Foundation in 2013. Christian is currently working on his debut novel “Boyfriend007”.

In Schöppingen, Christian Schattat carried out a literature and internet research on seduction strategies as part of his novel project “Boyfriend007”, such as with at Kierkegaard, Sartre and in the virtual pick-up artist scene. One of the protagonists of his story counts himself as part of the so-called seduction community. The pivotal point of the research was the biologically well-founded term “female choice”, which has meanwhile found its way into feminist theories. The results were literary for the novel by being incorporated into the drawing of several characters.
