“At the Künstlerdorf Schöppingen I had the privilege of immersing myself in long nights of silent work, interrupted by eternal conversations around the fireplace, where I could expand my world, my dreams and nightmares. A house of shadows creeping along the walls, of winds that seem to howl between the cracks in the wood and the tiles of the roof. Of screams in silence. Of ghosts. I return home with a grateful heart because I have found such a place in the world, a refuge, a black market for ideas and memories, and hope to return one day.”
