Nolwenn Salaün

Nolwenn Salaün (*1991 in Brest, France) is an artist and writer living and working in Turin, Italy. She uses language and photography in personal projects or for others, and composes silent and sonic performances in different contexts, interiors or places of passage. She sees words, sounds and spatial structures as bridges to read a place, to interact with the s(urr)oundings which host, contain, control or reveal, questioning her own position and the presences around.

During her residency she worked on a collaborative project together with Ona Juciūtė which culminated in an intervention at the museum’s barn of the local Heritage Association.
